Phoenix-based PikFly is expanding to the Las Vegas market as the first company to offer alcohol delivery service in about an hour. In partnership with Mariana’s Supermarkets, delivery to the Las Vegas metro area started this month. PikFly has been serving the Phoenix area since 2015. Their recent expansion to the Las Vegas market is the logical next step in their rapid growth plan.
To place an order, consumers and businesses can simply use their mobile device, or go to the website, www.pikfly.com. The order will be sent out to a network of certified drivers, called “Navigators”. Using an app, a Navigator will pick-up the order and make the delivery in about an hour. PikFly is also adding hot food from Mariana’s and other locally-owned restaurants to bring the best of both worlds together – food and adult drink in just one delivery.
According to PikFly CEO, Mike Auger, PikFly’s one-hour alcohol delivery service can help reduce instances of drinking and driving. “In addition to the convenience of delivery, we are very supportive of the social responsibility element of this business. We now provide options for people who might otherwise get behind the wheel.”
Mariana’s Marketplaces COO, Ruben Anaya, stated, “We are extremely excited to be offering our customers a new way to order from our stores, while expanding our reach with new customers into different areas of Las Vegas.”
